Starting his first club gig in 1988 at Shockwave Connection, he quickly established himself as a unique talent. Reknowned for his ability to get any floor rockin regardless of the genre of music. Testament to his talent is the fact that whenever a club was rockin, it was guaranteed you would find YOGI as one of the djs leading the way. From sexy as F**k house to booty shaking electro, he plays the lot… as long as its BIG, baby! A renowned DJ, his enthusiastic presence behind the decks is only outmatched by his precise technical skills and prodigious track selection. Held in high regard by all of Australia's top Djs, Yogi now calls Newcastle home again. His regular craziness can be heard on Sunday nights downstairs and Saturdays in the club. Moving back to Newcastle in 2003, after working in the Sydney club scene for a number of years to take up his role with King Street. Yogi is determined to make King street a world class venue. Having been fortunate enough to work with leading dance brands including Ministry Of Sound, One Love & Kink. He has certainly had a great time in bringing to Newcastle and playing with world class DJs such as John Course, Tim Mcgee, Goodwill, Andy Van, Dirty South, TV Rock, Grant Smillie, Ivan Gough, Potbelleez, Pete Sofo, Alan Thompson, Dimitri from Paris, Kid Kenobi, Sneaky Sound System ...the list goes on.
